Paul Cinnamond

Director

Paul has been a Director of Blake Newport since 2006. He has extensive experience in providing contract and commercial management services in the Technology & Outsourcing, Oil & Gas and Construction Sectors, primarily in the UK, but also on major projects in Europe and the Middle East. Paul represents Employer organisations, Prime Contractors and Sub-Contractors in both the private and public sectors. He provides support during both the pre-and post-contract phases of projects, as well as during formal dispute resolution proceedings such as adjudication, mediation, arbitration and litigation.

Paul has substantial experience in:

• Commercial and contract activities during the bidding process, (preparation of terms and conditions, contract schedules, negotiation and internal governance/approvals).
• Contract management during delivery phase, including negotiation of major Variations and resets of Contract Milestone dates for delays, on both prime and sub-contracts, and contractual guidance to the account teams
• preparation, negotiation and settlement of contractual claims for delay, disruption and acceleration.
