James Knox

Director

James has extensive experience in undertaking significant roles in providing both contentious and non-contentious commercial services to the construction, engineering, and outsourcing sectors.

With over 20 years of experience gained from projects in the UK, Russia, South Africa, and the EMEA regions, James is a knowledgeable and versatile member of the Blake Newport team. His work in the contentious sector includes numerous adjudications and providing quantum support to Expert Witnesses in arbitration. In the non-contentious sector, James has offered commercial and contract management support to a wide range of clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

Throughout his career, James has been involved in numerous major construction and engineering projects, including infrastructure, power, pharmaceutical, and offshore projects, as well as numerous EPC projects.

Additionally, he has provided commercial support to an insolvency practice following the liquidation of a multinational structural engineering company and assisted one of the Big Four accounting organizations in auditing one of the largest construction contractors in the UK.
