Blake Newport have extensive experience of working on a variety of different projects and process products, both in the UK and overseas, including equipment and vessel installation, insulating lines carrying liquid natural gas in situations of extreme external temperatures, e.g. Middle East, scaffolding including intricate scaffolding operations around vessels and pipelines, production unit shutdown and large scale refinery shutdowns, outages requiring high productivity levels in a short space of time.

Blake Newport’s experience of working in this field means that we fully understand the problems faced by our clients, whether they are main contractors or specialist sub-contractors.

Blake Newport have been involved in a wide variety of process plants over the last three decades. This experience has given us a full understanding of the fast-track nature of most of these projects and in particular the difficulties associated with the commercial management of productivity, labour resource and the interfaces of a variety of disciplines.

Blake Newport are fully acquainted with the difficulties of managing the project construction associated with the changing nature of planning from a system priority to area priority that regularly occurs and the commercial difficulties that can arise out of this switch. The constraints that commissioning and safety put upon these projects are also factors that must be taken into consideration.
