Education
Schools, Colleges, Universities
Blake Newport has carried out work in the education sector in both Further Education Colleges and Schools. We have used both our commercial and planning disciplines to assist with the requirement and constraints involved in working alongside a school and the need to ensure that all work is carried out without causing too much disruption to the running of the existing school and functions of teaching staff and of course the students. This has included working outside term time and during short breaks in the academic calendar.
Blake Newport has advised School Boards of Governors, Principals, Estates and Bursary staff in the management of construction, refurbishment through the use of our commercial and planning of projects from cradle to grave. This has been achieved successfully on specialist listed buildings, refurbishments and new build schemes including classrooms, swimming pools, science laboratories, art and music rooms, halls and gymnasiums.
